Circular economy

IEMA ran a great webinar session a few days ago giving some working examples in Scotland of the move toward a circular economy. I found it very interesting and it teased out some new thoughts on the application of circular economy thinking.

The news is full of often garish headlines about the coronavirus outbreak. We don’t want to ignore the risk, however neither do we want panic.
In normal life we can slow spread and reduce risk by: washing hands frequently with soap and water or alcohol based hand wash (for 20 seconds), washing hands when arriving at home or work, avoiding rubbing mouth, eyes or nose, and coughing or sneezing into a tissue which should be safely disposed of.
The following is taken from the NHS website at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/common-questions/
The symptoms of coronavirus are:
a cough
a high temperature
Shortness of breath

But these symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness. The symptoms are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as cold and flu.
It's very unlikely to be coronavirus if:
you have not been in close contact with someone with confirmed coronavirus
you have not been to a country...

Welcome to our new look look website, we hope that you like it. We will use this as an informal way to spread news about our company, environmental and health protection and occupational safety matters.
